RetreatsEarth
Our Mother Earth (Madre Tierra) sustains, nurtures, and cares for us. She is the feminine, the great mother, providing ways to shed what we no longer need and create new life. During our plant medicine retreats in Ecuador, you have the opportunity to give thanks to Mother Earth, reconnect, remember, and ground your energy with her support.
Water
Water (Agua) is life, the main element of our bodies, and the one that knows us more than we know ourselves. Water is the most powerful medicine, bringing transformation, healing, clarity, flow, and purification. We honor and care for water in different ways, including it being part of our plant medicine ceremonies.
Fire
Humans have long gathered around Grandfather fire (Abuelo Fuego) in communities, homes, and ceremonies. He helps generate willpower, grounds us, elevates our prayers, connects us to our masculine energy, and reflects the inner light of our hearts. Our Grandfather Fire is still the heart of many communities, ceremonies, and family homes, including at Ayllu Medicina plant medicine retreats.
Air
Air is the element that sings through you from the moment you are born until you depart for the stars. It also represents all the spirits of our ancestors who have continued on to the other side. You can connect to the breath through different techniques on our plant medicine retreats to stay centered, purify, and stay aligned with your true self.
Energy
Akasha is the spirit energy in all things. The state of the body and mind is a reflection of our energy. By integrating this fifth element into our lives, we bring back the sacredness of all that is. Through plant medicine ceremonies and other retreat practices such as yoga and meditation, we can experience this sacred energy within ourselves and bring it into our daily life.
